Memorial Plaza
MetroNational’s third pocket park, the Anne Wilford Memorial Park, Herman Memorial Hospital, Houston Texas.
The bronze medallions represent Anne’s faith and charity as a leader in the Houston community. The bronze fountain top, symbolizes her service, dedication and the handprints of her grandchildren in the fountain top symbolize her legacy in our community. Her grandchildren will eventually be the trustees of the foundation in her name. Concepts and discussions began in June 2004. The park was dedicated in April 2005.
