Molly Ann Brennen Plaza
This plaza is part of the Heart of the Park project led by the Friends of Herman Park, a non-profit citizens’ organization in Houston Texas. I designed the four fountain grates for each corner of the plaza. The plaza is dedicated to the pioneering spirit of Houstonians. I chose to focus on four areas in which Houstonians have excelled: medicine, transportation, space exploration and commerce/industry.
Concepts and discussions began in July 1999. The plaza was dedicated in Spring 2000.
